A Brand Copy Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a company's brand identity through written content
1. As a Brand Copy Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive and persuasive brand voice across various communication channels.
2. You will collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure that all written content aligns with the brand's identity and objectives.
3. Write compelling content for print, web, advertising, and marketing materials
4. Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimised for conversion
5. Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
6. Write high-quality product descriptions and provide supporting content
7. Ensure messaging is consistent across mediums
8. Brainstorm and manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables
9. Define key messages and brand voice for each brand for external communications
Key Personality Traits :
Strong communication skills and his/her English should be well versed both in spoken and written formats.
Someone who has an International flavour with a strong touch of home - Mangalore region - who has experience in working at a Branding agency across the country and had worked on writing copy for marketing campaigns, with 5 plus years of experience.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Brand Messaging :
Development: Develop and maintain a clear and compelling brand messaging framework that encompasses the company's values, mission, and unique selling propositions
Craft brand positioning statements, taglines, and messaging guidelines.
2. Content Strategy :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define content strategies for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and advertising materials.
Ensure that all content aligns with the brand's voice and persona.
3. Copywriting :
Write and edit high-quality, persuasive copy for various marketing collateral, including website content, product descriptions, blog posts, advertisements, and social media posts
Adapt and tailor messaging to suit different audiences and channels
4. Brand Guidelines :
Develop, adapted and maintain brand guidelines related to copy and messaging, ensuring consistency across all touch-points.
Train internal teams and external partners on brand voice and guidelines
5. Market Research :
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behaviour to inform and adapt the brand's messaging and strategy.
6. Content & SEO Optimisation :
Continuously analyse and optimise content performance across all our digital properties
A/B test different messaging approaches to identify what resonates best with the target audience on social and web platforms.
Adopt SEO best practices and SEO integration into content
Creation and adaptation of content for different media platforms and channels
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience as a copywriter or brand strategist, preferably in a digital marketing or product company - with 5 years+ of experience
Knowledge of SEO best practices and their integration into content strategy.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing a range of written content.
Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them to copywriting.
Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and marketing tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with creative thinking and the ability to generate unique ideas and concepts.
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and interpret the impact of content on brand performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - to 100% proficient in English, proficiency
Knowledge of the co-working industry and an understanding of the needs & functioning of start-ups and businesses is a big plus
